The Uber Tallinn office occupies a 200 m² space formed from two merged apartments in Aia 4, a building by KTA Architects. The irregular constructional geometry — no wall meeting at a right angle — defined the entire spatial approach.

Rather than fighting the awkward angles, the design works with them. A soft, curved aesthetic throughout the plan absorbs the irregularities and makes the space feel intentional rather than constrained. Semi-transparent curtains divide the room without adding visual weight, keeping the small footprint feeling open. Different flooring materials delineate three distinct zones — individual workstations along the glass facade, a raised kitchen and lounge at the centre, and two meeting rooms offering different settings for various working scenarios.

The result is a compact but layered workspace that feels domestic and calm despite its challenging base geometry.
