KAPA paper store

KAPA was a community shop located next to the Estonian Academy of Arts, curated by its students. It sold paper, art supplies, and a selection of hardware store materials.

The interior was deliberately flexible — movable transparent shelves on a blue steel grid allowed the space to shift between retail, workshop, and monthly exhibition. Nothing was fixed. The shop became what the community needed it to be, week to week, with the open display system keeping full attention on the products themselves.

Alongside the shop, KAPA ran an active exhibition and education programme, giving young artists a platform to show their work and offering the local community workshops and events throughout the year.
